But the idiots at the shop I took my Z to did not install the EGT probe where I wanted it while having my Z apart. They put it in my GDupree downpipes. I wanted it before the turbos. That's a whole other story! My EGT now reads around 1100F normal driving & 12-1250F at WOT. HOT!! The only boost upgrade was the JWT ECU w/boost jets. AFter the ECU I was reading 13 Lbs or so. After the GDupree downpipes it raised my boost to 15-16Lbs. of boost. Also added about 50-75 degrees to the EGT for some reason. Like Scott said though...it could be just the higher boost that's made the EGT higher.
